Pool Garden, Studham

This 2.5 acre garden is being developed in several stages. Phase one began with a swimming pool and pond refurbishment. Grassy terraced banks wrap around two sides of a telescopic pool enclosure. A natural stone terrace provides a lounging area with tall grasses providing privacy. A large slab of reclaimed York stone railway platform creates a bridge across the stream making leading to the pool terrace. A second seating area to catch the last of the sun’s rays is nestled amongst mature trees. Planting mixes perennial and grasses to give a natural and somewhat wild atmosphere. In the next stage of the design an orchard with wild flowers is being developed.
