This contemporary family garden combines the family play essentials with a garden to give pleasure throughout the seasons. The garden consists of three levels with steps leading from one to another. An oval lawn sits at the centre, providing the space needed to balance the planting and is a great place for games. On each side side of the garden paths leading through luxurious planting which creates secret passages including a ‘jungle’ designed with the children in mind. Planting screens the trampoline and swings from the main views whilst there is plenty of area for relaxing on the deck next to the house or outside the garden studio. Four small vegetable beds are in the lower terrace and in time when the play equipment is no longer used the space will be given over to a greenhouse and a larger productive garden.
