The Koi Pond Garden

Front and back gardens were designed for this newly built property in Hertfordshire.

The design for the driveway created a spacious circular bed around the protected Monkey Puzzle tree. The drive is surfaced in resin-bound stone, coloured to sit pleasingly with the house. Large planters with yew balls frame the entrance. A pair of coned holly trees frame the gates, and Rhododendrons and azaleas sweep around the drive with a vibrant blast of colour. The back garden features a bespoke oak bench circling the existing copper beech tree and a koi pond with waterfall over large rocks. Japanese maples frame the views and roses, perennials, trees and shrubs provide beautiful seasonal changes.
